Terri Anderson is the CEO and founder of The Caregivers Depot. She was a caregiver for her mom for 10 years before she succumbed to vascular dementia in June 2017. Her experiences as a family caregiver while working full-time made her realize that this would be a great opportunity to share her thoughts and struggles while going thru her caregiving journey.
Her blog serves as a resource for caregivers to provide tips on how she coped with her experiences - the good, the bad, and the ugly. Her mission is simple: We need to spread awareness for dementia/Alzheimer's disease.
She's not a healthcare professional, but like most caregivers you learn as you go to care for your loved ones. "Together we can one day find a cure to 'Fight the Memory Thief' and win".
Her site thecaregiversdepot is a great resource for advice and tips on the your caregiver journey.
